Business, Reflection

On the first day of this class, I knew Business was going to be something different for me. Mr. Joe, a quite interesting lecturer, was very clear in his method of teaching. The important things that I've learnt in this module was the basics of Business, and on how to sell and manage a real business for the charity drive, thus giving me some experience. I also learnt on how to handle various personalities in business,  how to plan out and do research on demographics on certain areas and all that.

These lessons are important to me as it put me up on what to expect when managing a business and how to handle it in the future. The business plan helped me to understand what's important to attract people to your business establishment, to plan and manage, to do research on things like market analysis and all that. For the business personality sketch, due to human nature, everyone has their own personalities, and for that class I've learnt on how to manage and handle them as well.

My favourite topic was the personality & business ethics, as I'm interested on how the human mind works and how it can be applied to business. It's also one of the most memorisable topic for me in business. My least favourite topic was on how to manage in accountings, as I'm not that good in maths, but I managed to do it though.

My overall experience of this module was great, I've learnt lots of things throughout the semester, and the most interesting assignment was the charity drive, as I learnt on how to sell stuff, manage and promote our business, get sponsors and ask for donations, go around multiple places and talk to people; thus giving me a boost of experience on business. The module; the slides and the lecture was clearly understood, as Mr. Joe's method of teaching was excellent.

My comments about this module is that it's a great experience, as what I thought when I first stepped into the class. It also helped me on how to prepare for the future. Mr. Joe.
