Architectural Conservation

For this module, our main task was to observe and study on building conservation in our country. One of the first building that we had to study was Gedung Raja Abdullah, located in Klang. The building faces abandonment, refurbishments, re-purposes throughout its years before finally being abandoned again, with the furnishings slowly rotting away.

As for our second task, our group had to present on the challenges and issues that Malaysia faces, specifically, Georgetown, Penang. 

And for our final task, we had to do a report and present on a building of our choice, which were shophouses located nearby the KL Tower, and lies on Jalan Raja Chulan, and figure out a way to re-adapt and/or re-use the building to better suit its environment and/or time and age.
