English II, Interviewing Bakeries

For my second assignment, my group (Natalie, Philia, Naim, Andrew and Ridzwan) and I, had to interview people doing commercialised business and home-based business. We decided to interview bakeries as it's easier to find in Kuala Lumpur.

The interview.

Our first interview was at White Brick Oven, a home-based bakery owned by Mr. Mustaffa, an England-born man living in Malaysia for decades now.

Mr. Mustaffa's bakery is located in an unmarked location in Sungai Buloh, finding his bakery was hard, as there's no signboards saying where his bakery's located.

Mr. Mustaffa's utensils and equipments were decades old, and everything he does, from cakes to loaves of bread, were made from scratch, even the flour!

Our second baker was Mr. Tommy Lee, an interesting man with a very interesting personality. Mr. Tommy's bakery is located in Jalan Ipoh, selling all kinds of pastries and breads.

We learnt that there's always challenges in life, no matter how successful you are, and you must always be prepared to face it.
