CHOW KIT SITE ANALYSIS
For our first assignment for Studio VI, we were assigned to our tutor and grouped accordingly to prepare a site analysis for a part of Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur. Focusing on the grey area of Chow Kit, the group managed to make several observations in analyzing the concept, as well as giving suggestions on how to improve certain aspects, and carved out their site model for a more thorough analysis.

KONTRA, A CO-WORKING SPACE
For the second project, we had to design an office building within one of the busiest and tightest spots on site. Sound, smell, walk-ability, accessibility, all had to be considered in designing the office. The project gave me an insight on how to utilize an existing space efficiently while applying the existing context of Chow Kit to aid the design of the office. KONTRA's concept was to utilize positive distractions in helping people to study better.

Internal conceptual perspective view.
Floor plans.
Design considerations.
Elevations and sections.
As a conclusion, this project helped me to understand of designing a space within a community; targeting demographics, analyzing on issues and activities that occurred within the site, and the little details that made the office work.
